Episode 3 – Setting up & Scaling in the U.S. with Daniel Glazer

How do you set up & scale your business in the U.S. market? For the third episode of the U.S. expansion series, we sat with attorney Daniel Glazer from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati to discuss all the legal aspects of setting up and scaling your business in the U.S., from setting up a subsidiary to raising funds from U.S. investors.  Wilson Sonsini assists many unicorns and fast-growing scale-ups with their U.S. expansion, fundraising, and IPO. Based on his many years of experience, Daniel shares the do’s and don’ts for European companies looking to expand to the U.S. market.

Daniel Glazer is an American technology lawyer, strategic business advisor, and managing partner of Silicon Valley-headquartered Wilson Sonsini’s London office and U.S. Expansion group.  Dan and his team support technology-driven UK/EU companies through their U.S. life cycle:  U.S. launch, scale, venture capital financing, and IPO/M&A exit.  Dan collaborated with the U.S. Department of Commerce to conceive and develop its “SelectUSA Tech” program for non-US technology companies. The legal publication The American Lawyer named him its inaugural “Transatlantic Innovator of the Year.”  Wilson Sonsini – often referred to as a Silicon Valley “anchor tenant” – has represented more technology companies on their venture financings, M&A transactions, and IPOs than any other law firm globally.
