TABS Office Manager

TABS Inc., an international business expansion support office, is expanding and looking for an Office Manager to join our office in New York City.  The Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day office operations in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes supervising office staff and human resources. 

Responsibilities Include


  • Office Management

    • Development and implementation of administrative procedures to streamline and maximize workflow

    • Development and implementation of standards for secure document retention

    • Overseeing and managing administrative support staff

    • Maintaining customer relation management database

    • Setting up and administering systems including phone lines and extensions for TABS and its clients

    • Preparing and participating in biweekly staff or administrative meetings

    • Assisting with and overseeing IT matters and systems in the office

    • Assisting with ongoing projects where necessary


  • Human Resources

    • Development and implementation of Human Resources policies

    • Advising management regarding HR related compliance and best practices

    • Management of recruitment processes and assisting with selection of employees and interns

    • Preparing all new hire paperwork

    • Conducting employee orientation and training

    • Maintaining employment related records for all employees

    • Preparing job descriptions

    • Preparing and participating in performance reviews

    • Basic payroll administration may be included



  • Knowledge / experience related to IT, social media and website maintenance

  • Knowledge / experience of office administration

  • Knowledge / experience of human resource management

  • Knowledge /experience of payroll processing

  • Well-developed communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and under pressure

Junior bookkeeper

Position Overview:

The Junior Bookkeeper is responsible for assisting the Senior Bookkeeper in bookkeeping for Trans Atlantic Business Services Inc. and affiliated companies and a rapidly growing number of clients.


  • Updating accounts payable and receivable

  • Data entry

  • Assisting with audits

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports on cash flow management

  • Entering necessary information for monthly reconciliations of bank, credit card and payroll

  • Assist bookkeeper with invoicing

  • Sending out reminders of past due invoices



  • Knowledge/Education

    • Associate degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Business or other related field and relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience; OR

    • High School Degree and 4 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably with a CPA firm.


  • Core Skills:

    • Very proficient with QuickBooks

    • Good planning and organizational skills

    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

    • Well-developed communication skills

    • Demonstrated problem solving skills

    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
