Floor studied Psychology at the University of Groningen and obtained a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Amsterdam, both in the Netherlands. During this Master, Floor specialized in Culture and Organization Management.

Floor has written her thesis about Dutch entrepreneurs in New York City. For this thesis, she did extensive research on the cultural differences between the Netherlands and the U.S. and other factors that influence a successful market entry in the U.S.
