Like many others, we have made the difficult decision to close our offices and our team is working remotely. We are operating on a regular schedule to ensure we are available to assist you. While everyone is properly prioritizing physical health of themselves and their employees, we also know that you may have concerns regarding your business operations and we wanted to share resources that we found that may answer many of your questions.

On an ongoing business we will be gathering information on topics like tax relief, credit assistance, legal matters (a.o. force majeur), travel and immigration and hr matters. It is important to realize that there are differences between federal, state and even local initiatives. Be sure what you are reviewing is applicable to your business.

Employee Retention Credit

The IRS urges employers to take advantage of the newly-extended employee retention credit, designed to make it easier for businesses that, despite challenges posed by COVID-19, choose to keep their employees on the payroll.

Update Paycheck Protection Program

The Small Business Administration (SBA) published their guidelines for the Second Round of PPP loans (“PPP2”). With the new guidelines published it became clear that the SBA has also reopened their application for the first round of PPP loans and encourages eligible businesses that were not able to, or missed the deadline for the first PPP loan to apply now.
